The conference will be held at Xiamen Ocean Vocational College, a public higher vocational college in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China. The college is administered by the Fujian Provincial Department of Education, traces its origins to 1920, and was formally established as Xiamen Ocean Vocational College in 2003 on the foundation of its predecessor institutions.
The college operates two campuses, located in Siming District and Xiang’an District of Xiamen. With its established strengths in marine- and maritime-related education, the institution provides a distinctive setting for academic exchange; notably, its Xiang’an Campus hosted an international conference on environmental science and ocean engineering in November 2024.
Xiamen Ocean Vocational College currently has 10 secondary colleges, offers 43 majors, and enrolls about 8,700 full-time students.
